Cargo Service Centre India Pvt. Ltd manages Cargo Village and operates India’s first on-airport Public Custom Bonded Warehouse at Kempe Gowda International Airport, Bengaluru.

With an area of 10,000 square feet, the CSC Custom Bonded Warehouse facility at Cargo Village is currently India’s first Custom Bonded Warehouse to be located on airport premises. It handles 1200 MT of cargo annually. The facility aims to cut down on supply-chain costs and facilitate trade in India’s IT hub and surrounding regions. The warehouse will help with the re-export of goods, long-term storage of bonded cargo, assist with partial clearances, and allow value-added services such as labeling, packing, and repacking services. The types of cargo handled include general cargo, perishable cargo, and dangerous goods.

Kannur International Airport Ltd. has appointed Cargo Service Center India Private Limited to operate and manage all air cargo operations of the domestic & international airports.

The terminal provides cargo handling services, including but not limited to receiving cargo, building and breaking down ULDs, and providing all related document handling services. The total floor area of the integrated cargo building is 1200 square meters, with 2 cold storage (1 freezer and 2 chillers) and 2 strong rooms. The terminal handles perishable and general cargo at present. It handles 19,000 MT of perishable cargo and general cargo annually.

INTERNATIONAL AND DOMESTIC CARGO TERMINAL OPERATIONS, COCHIN

CIAL has awarded the Cochin Airport International and Domestic Cargo Operations concession to CSC at Cochin International Airport. CSC is responsible for managing and operating the International and Domestic Cargo Terminal operations as a Regulated Agent (RA) and the Terminal Operator as per the IATA SGHA 2013 scheduled services. The Domestic Cargo Warehouse spans an impressive 2,300 square meters, while the international cargo handling section boasts an expansive 10400 square meters. These state-of-the-art facilities cater to a wide range of cargo, including perishable and temperature-sensitive goods, as well as various general and courier export and import shipments.
